Nursery Practitioners employed by the nursery have professional qualifications and or, experience equipping them with the skills to provide a safe and healthy environment for your child.
The Market Nursery's staff team have gained the following qualifications:

• FIRST AID AT WORK
• FIRST AID FOR TODDLERS & BABIES
• NVQ 2 IN FOOD PREPERATION

Collectively the staff team have 65 years experience that's an average of nine years for each team member!

The Market Nursery staff team has a broad age from 20 - 49 years, over 50% of the staff aged over 30 years. Over 60% of the staff team have been with the Market Nursery for over 7 years. The staff team also receive training at regular intervals to further develop their skills knowledge and understanding and keep abreast of new changes and developments in childcare and education and Health & Safety Issues. The nursery has gained Investors In Children (National Day Nurseries Quality Assurance Scheme) recognition for providing Quality Day Care for children under five we have also gained Investors In People (the Market Nursery has recognition in meeting the international standard in effective investment in People for training and development).
