A Child's Typical Day

A child's typical day would be as follows:

• The nursery opens at 8.00 am
• At 8.30 am it is breakfast time this is served in the Dining room until 9.00 am.
• The children then join their groups for planned room activities until 11.30am to prepare for lunchtime.
• After lunch the younger children sleep (2-3's), while the older ones (3-4's) have quiet activities, the older children have the option to sleep by request.
• Teatime is at 3.00 pm
• From 3.30 pm until 6.00 pm activities continue until all children have gone home.

In addition to the above rooms we have a dining room where children and staff eat meals together. The room is also used for social occasions.
